At Sam's Simple Jewelry Mounts, we prioritize your confidence and satisfaction. Upon placing your order, we’ll automatically send you a how-to video featuring step-by-step instructions. This video is also available on our social media platforms and on our “How To” page. Additionally, Sam and his son, Marco, will soon offer in-person lessons in Tucson. Return and Exchange Policy
Each mount undergoes a thorough quality control inspection to ensure it meets our standards for everyday jewelry use without risk of losing the stone. However, calibrated stones may occasionally vary by +/-1 mm, possibly affecting the fit. If this occurs, please contact us, and we’ll happily exchange it for the correct mount tailored for your stone. For stones with a low dome, we recommend watching Sam's video on tricks for achieving a proper fit.

Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges for mounts that have been damaged or improperly used. If you have questions or concerns regarding their use, feel free to contact us for assistance via phone or video chat.

 

 

FAQs

What materials are the mounts made of?
Currently, our mounts are crafted from .925 sterling silver. However, we can produce them in various other materials upon request.

How much time does it take to set a stone in these mounts?
Setting time varies by individual, but with the proper tools, it generally takes about 1-3 minutes, excluding polishing or finishing time.

What makes your mounts different from other pre-made bezels?
Our mounts are engineered for strength and durability while maintaining a hybrid design that ensures ease of use for jewelers of all skill levels.

What tools do I need to set a stone?
To set a stone, you’ll need a bezel pusher and nylon jaw pliers. We also recommend having jump rings on hand for low-dome stones, along with either a flush cut side cutter or flush end cutter. Having emery paper, files, or abrasive wheels can be beneficial if you chose to remove the build in jump rings on either side of the mount.

What stones can I use with these mounts?
You can use any calibrated stone, including, but not limited to: turquoise, spiny oyster, variscite, larimar, opal, jasper, amethyst, citrine, quartz, etc. For a list of recommended vendors or to purchase stones directly from us, please reach out.
